Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching was born March 28th, 1977. She is an American actress. Her role includes Renee Walker on the American television series 24. Motion capture and voice work were also done for Tess in Naughty Dog’s videogame The Last of Us. Wersching was born and was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Crossroads College Preparatory School, St. Louis' Central West End in the year 1995. In her youth, she was a competitive Irish dancer as well as a member of the St. Louis Celtic stepdancers. Millikin University awarded her a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 1999. Wersching began her acting career as an actor on Star Trek: Enterprise. Then she went on to play guest roles on shows such as Charmed, Killer Instinct and Supernatural. She played the role of Amelia Joffe, a recurring character on ABC Daytime's soap drama General Hospital from March 2007 until November 2007. Additionally, she worked at theaters like Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. In 2014, she was an episode regular on the first season of Amazon Prime crime show Bosch. Wersching played catcher for the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was announced that, in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us Wersching played the voice and mo-cap actor of the character Tess. Geoff Keighley teased her character on Twitter, before she was revealed in the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7th, 2012. Wersching was set to take on the role of the Borg Queen on Star Trek: Picard in September 2021.
