Miley Ray Cyrus born Destiny Hope Cyrus, November 23 1992 is an American musician, singer and actress. Noted for her distinctive raspy voice, her music incorporates elements from a variety of genres and styles, including pop, country pop, hip hop, experimental, and rock. With a total of 13 songs, Cyrus is the female artist with the highest number of US Billboard 200 Top-five Albums in the 21st Century. Cyrus's life in the public eye, her images and performances have often sparked controversy and garnered extensive media coverage. Cyrus was born to Billy Ray Cyrus and became a popular teen star when she played the title character on the Disney Channel television show Hannah Montana (2006)-2011. In her role as Hannah Montana, she attained three top-five soundtracks on the US Billboard 200, including the US Billboard Hot 100 top-ten single "He Could Be the One".
